Speaking about e-learning engine. Should all IPT do their own or should it be a collaborative effort to produce one engine which can cater everyone's need. The reason is that to avoid the work duplications and to produce the better engine. Since the more brain you have in a team, the more superb your product will be. So far just a few IPT who already starting to develop their own e-learning engine. The one that already proven and tested is done by a group of programmer with UUM.Already being practice at two of the school. School of Business and Language. Hmm... why not School of IT?

While technology play a big role to enable the software to run smoothly via high bandwith and big storage capacity, human factor is nonethelessly important. The content writer. This is the most difficult part. Usually content are design by techno people with small involvement by real teacher or educator. The reason is that the educator are not familiar playing with design tools. Lack of monetary reward for the educator to come out with good content is one of the blocking factor. After all it is not their daily or prescribed job.

Most IPT have money to materialise the project but to maintain the quality content need more than money. They might face difficulties or decrease of response from the students. At last, the most profitable group is the technology provider. TELEKOM.
